At Lager 157, we are now looking for a driven and analytical Assortment Manager Men who wants to play a central role in our retail operations. You will be responsible for selecting and purchasing goods that reflect our brand, meet customer preferences, and support our financial goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Assortment Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Product selection and purchasing: Identify trends and consumer preferences to create an attractive product assortment. You negotiate terms and prices with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals.
• Campaign planning: Lead campaign planning and define product selections that align with our assortment strategies. You analyze campaign effectiveness and provide clear instructions to the marketing department.
• Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels to optimize product availability and minimize overstock and stockouts. Use modern inventory management systems to track product performance.
• Financial analysis and budgeting: Develop and manage purchasing budgets and analyze sales data and profit margins to maximize profitability. Prepare reports to communicate insights to management.
• Team leadership: Provide leadership and support to your team, set clear goals, and promote professional development. You will facilitate communication and resolve any conflicts.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Proven experience in purchasing, merchandising, or procurement within retail.
• Analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Communication skills: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Technical knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Creativity: A passion for retail and a sense of consumer trends.
