About the role and your responsibilities

As a planning architect, you will play a key role in the development of detailed plans, planning investigations, and planning programs.

In this role, you will:

Collaborate and engage in dialogue both internally within the municipality and with external parties.
Participate in planning projects, conduct analyses and assessments, and find creative and functional solutions together with others.
Communicate in writing and verbally, as well as present cases to politicians in the municipality's committees.

You will work with preparatory planning for development in various stages of the detailed planning process and be responsible for transforming visions, ideas, and needs into detailed plans that contribute to creating a sustainable society where people can grow and thrive.

We view positively if you have previous experience in detailed planning and municipal operations. We also wish that you are an experienced user of digital drawing and presentation tools. You have a passionate interest in urban planning and a desire to develop.

We are looking for you

Have an academic education in physical planning, architecture, urban planning, or have equivalent education that we assess as comparable.
Good skills in urban design and spatial organization.
Very experienced user of digital drawing and presentation tools.
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the role involves a lot of communication and documentation.

Other qualifications

Good knowledge of digital visualization of architecture and urban development.
Broad knowledge of the key aspects of sustainability related to community planning.
As a person, you are responsible and unpretentious.
Enjoy working independently but also in a team with good cohesion and high morale.
