Job Responsibilities

As a resident physician with us, you will be part of our medical team staffing the Rheumatology Outpatient Clinic and day care. As a resident, you will perform practical tasks such as administering corticosteroid injections, conducting ultrasound examinations of joints and vessels, taking muscle biopsies, and more. We work in interdisciplinary teams where you collaborate with other staff at the clinic. Additionally, you will receive supervision from senior physicians. As a resident physician, you will participate in on-call duties and supervise medical students as well as support nurses in the nursing clinic. Together with other staff, you will participate in the development work at the clinic.

The Rheumatology Clinic is staffed by 34 employees from various professional categories, working together with a holistic view of the patient. We focus on quality and development based on a clear vision. The clinic has a regional responsibility for the investigation and treatment of adult patients with various autoimmune joint and connective tissue diseases.

Rheumatology is an exciting field that has developed significantly in recent years. We offer modern treatments and new medications that improve health and quality of life for our patients. The clinic has a well-functioning rheumatology rehabilitation unit for the rehabilitation of patients with rheumatic diseases.

The clinic has 3 inpatient beds for the treatment and investigation of patients with systemic diseases involving organs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license. Experience working as a physician in internal medicine or general practice is an advantage for the position. We use the Cosmic journal system in our work, and previous experience with this system is considered an asset. In this role, you will communicate daily with patients, relatives, and colleagues, so good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

We see you as a stable and secure person who takes responsibility in your work and enjoys collaborating in a team with other professionals. You have a respectful approach in your interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues. As a physician, you will lead and supervise colleagues, so we expect you to be clear in your communication and to ensure that you are understood and that you understand what others are trying to convey. We have high expectations for personal qualities.

Start date according to agreement.
