About the Teleoperation Team

The Teleoperation Team supports F7 with the maintenance of critical systems for the daily function of the squadron and the airport. We actively work with the maintenance of airport-critical systems such as landing/navigation aids, weather service systems, radio equipment, and more.

By ensuring the availability of these systems, we enable combat and transport aircraft as well as helicopters to take off and land safely.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain the technical support systems used by the squadron and the airport in its daily operations
• Develop your technical competence by completing training on the systems we work with
• Participate in projects for the introduction of new equipment and systems

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Swedish citizen
• Relevant technical education such as high school education with a focus on technology, electrical, IT, or equivalent knowledge
• Driving license B for manual transmission
• Proficient in technical English and Swedish in speech and writing
• Good physical condition

Meritorious

• Knowledge in network technology (routing and switching, Cisco CUCM, Windows Server, DNS)
• Knowledge/experience in IT operations
• Knowledge in electricity, power supply, and backup power systems (electrical qualification or experience from work with electricity)
• Knowledge in radio and telecommunications (telecommunications infrastructure, fiber)
• Knowledge in navigation and landing aids
• Knowledge in meteorological systems and sensors
• Previous work experience in one or more technical areas and/or airport operations
• Completed military service or GMU
• Previous experience with the Armed Forces' IT systems

Employment form: Civil permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period. Employment rate: Full-time.

The position requires physical ability, participation in business trips, participation in training and exercises in the war organization. Participation in international operations may occur.

Skaraborg Air Wing is a versatile and unique air wing. Here you will find combat aircraft as well as the Armed Forces' combined resources for transport and special aviation. We conduct basic and position training for conscripted recruits and train all Swedish and foreign Gripen pilots. The unit also participates in many missions. In Sweden, operations are located in Såtenäs, Malmen, Arlanda, and Karlsborg. Abroad, we are responsible for Gripen support in Thailand and for the Swedish personnel in the international transport aviation cooperation Heavy Airlift Wing in Hungary.
