I am now looking for one or two assistants who can work part-time and extra during the semesters in Hammarby Sjöstad. During the summer, I will also need assistants for summer camp, probably at Barnens Ö. There is a possibility to work full-time later on.

I am in my first year of adapted high school and require assistance around the clock due to a neurological condition that includes epilepsy with severe seizures during nighttime sleep (very rarely during the day). I enjoy music, dancing, clothes, and headgear, and I have special interests such as vacuum cleaners and guitars.

I am looking for someone who is calm and secure in themselves and finds it exciting to work with people who think in different ways. You are positive, solution-oriented, and flexible regarding my needs. It is also important to me that you are attentive, so you can read different situations that I find stressful.

To minimize the risk of misunderstandings, it is important that you have good knowledge of Swedish.

Meritorious Experiences:

• Music in all forms
• Alternative communication (AAC)
• Epilepsy
• Experience working with people with different cognition (neurodevelopmental disorders)

Your Tasks:

• Be my support and security so that I can manage outings etc. without getting stressed
• Learn to understand my communication (speech and TAKK) and support me in communication with others
• Together with me, come up with things we want to do together

During your introduction, you will receive training on epilepsy and emergency care. A strong focus will be placed on communication, and you will receive training in TAKK.

The position is for work in Hammarby Sjöstad. There is a possibility to work up to full-time if you can also join us at our cabin in Ljusterö during weekends and holidays.

Working hours: Shifts are scheduled for all hours of the day, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
