At Keolis depot in Enköping, we are now looking for you who are interested in working as a summer substitute in our workshop. We are looking for someone who is training to be a mechanic and has a strong interest in vehicles and technology. We offer an educational summer job as a bus mechanic where you will have a varied and independent job.

About the position

As a Bus Mechanic, or Maintenance Technician as we call it, you will have a very varied job as you work with the entire process. You will make technical assessments of various systems in the bus and carry out appropriate measures. Your tasks may include troubleshooting and diagnostics of the bus's systems as well as repairs, maintenance, and service. In consultation with the management, you will make a traffic safety assessment of whether the bus can be put into traffic.

To thrive, you should be flexible, structured, and enjoy collaborating with others. You are communicative and proactive. You see it as a positive to work with our different types of buses. The position involves shift work with varying working hours such as day, evening, and weekend shifts.

You need to have

• Ongoing automotive or workshop technical education
• B driver's license
• Proficient user of system support
• Good computer skills
• Good experience working with larger vehicles or similar work

If you have a D driver's license, education or experience in vehicle electronics or climate systems, or professional experience in heavy vehicle technical work, this is an advantage.
