About the position

As a nurse with us, you will work in a team with people from other professional categories to meet the unique needs of each patient. You also have an important leadership role and ensure that the patient's care is continuously driven forward. You are a role model on the ward, a team leader, and have your own patient responsibility. You will also work to provide support to relatives, take samples, manage medication distribution, and document in the journal system Take Care.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse who has an interest in psychiatric inpatient care with a focus on psychiatric nursing. Previous experience in psychiatric care and/or as a specialist nurse in psychiatric care is an advantage.

As the work on the ward is varied and eventful, resilience and flexibility are important qualities in the person we are looking for. You appreciate working in a team with people from other professional categories and are happy to share your expertise with others. You take responsibility and focus on the patient's needs. You see opportunities instead of obstacles and do your best in each individual situation. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Permanent employment, full-time. Scheduled working hours day/evening/weekend.

About us

Our inpatient care consists of two wards, ward 34 and 36, each with 16 beds. We care for patients according to HSL and LPT. Ward 34 also has a separate operation with 2 detoxification places where we care for patients admitted according to LOB. On the wards, nurses, caregivers, social workers, and doctors work together. The competence of all professional groups is utilized to provide very good care. We receive patients from all diagnostic groups, making the days varied and very interesting. This gives you the opportunity to learn about all the different diagnostic groups and comorbidity.

Psykiatricentrum Södertälje is a specialist psychiatric clinic within the Stockholm County Council's healthcare area, SLSO. The clinic has five outpatient units and two inpatient wards. With our 220 employees, we are a small clinic. This fosters good cohesion and makes it easier to get to know and influence the operations.
