Norrskenets Health Center is constantly moving forward! We want better care and high accessibility for our 7,000 registered patients.

To achieve this, we work together to develop our methods, find new solutions, structure our work, and focus on quality. We like to think outside the box and be close to our patients even if the distances are great. Therefore, we work with digital solutions, and in addition to in-person visits, we offer chat and video contact with our patients. Our main clinic is located in Vittangi, with branches in Kiruna, Svappavaara, and Karesuando. Our branch in Kiruna is our largest workplace, where we have a medical clinic, diabetes clinic, rehabilitation department with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, CBT therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators as well as child health services and BHC. Vittangi and Karesuando focus on rural medicine, where patients come in acutely, and you may handle everything from heart attacks to burns, etc.

We take care of each other and our patients with care and joy. Experience the largest relocation in modern times, as the entire central Kiruna is moved from the vicinity of the mine to solid ground. You have the ICE hotel in Jukkasjärvi, Esrange Space Center, proximity to Abisko National Park, Trollsjön, Björkliden, and Riksgränsen for fantastic skiing in winter and hiking in summer, as well as Nikkaluokta and Kebnekaise. Midnight sun in summer and Northern Lights in winter.

We are looking for

a general practitioner or licensed physician to hire full-time, part-time, or seasonally. In the long run, there may be an opportunity to become a managing partner according to Praktikertjänst's concept, if interested. If you are a resident physician in general medicine and are nearing the end of your residency, you are also welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

You are a general practitioner. With us, this means that you will have a mix of assignments. You will have scheduled appointments with booked patients but also acute patients as well as chat and digital visits. You will also provide supervision to our resident physicians. We have BHC, special accommodations, and home healthcare. The assignment will be shaped as much as possible according to your interests and experiences. We value and expect you to become part of the collaborative work among professional groups.

Qualifications

Specialist in general medicine, and since we work in rural areas, a driver's license is beneficial.
