Occupational Therapist to the Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit

We are looking for a curious occupational therapist who wants to work in an exciting, knowledge-filled, and varied unit, such as the Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit. In our unit, we value teamwork with the patient in focus, where your engagement becomes very important.

Job Responsibilities

With us, the tasks will be varied and consist of assessments and treatments of patients in inpatient and outpatient care who are treated at some of the clinics we work with. The important meeting with the patient, testing, and individual adaptation of aids will be some of your most important tasks.

This position is directed with responsibility towards the Urology Clinic, Vascular Surgery Ward/ENT, and Cognitive Reception. At the Cognitive Reception, you will perform assessments, treatments, and instructions and work with the treatment of Fatigue.

You will have close collaboration with several professional categories. You will be employed at the Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit, which means you work towards your areas of responsibility while being part of the surgical clinic's unit, consisting of a group of occupational therapists and physiotherapists, where we help each other and cover for one another when needed. The work also includes supervision of occupational therapy students.

About the Workplace

Working at the Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit means responsibility for occupational therapy and physiotherapy interventions at the Surgical, Oncology, Infectious, Women's, Vascular Surgery, Operations, Urology, and Ear Clinics. The unit employs five occupational therapists and thirteen physiotherapists, one of whom is the unit manager. Our goal is to work with the patient and teamwork in focus while also working on development that yields good results to create patient-safe care. We continuously work with quality, efficiency, and welcome new ideas and methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and preferably have previous experience in the profession. It is advantageous if you have experience working with patients within our area of responsibility. If you also have prescribing and webSesam training from the Aids Center, we see it as a benefit. Since we work in the Cosmic and Link journal systems, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of both systems. As the role involves communicating with patients, relatives, and colleagues, we see that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You communicate clearly and have the ability to distinguish between the personal and the professional. Employment Conditions

Permanent employment, full-time. Start date or according to agreement.

The position includes on-call work during major holidays where you work one of four consecutive days.
