About Järvaveckan

Järvaveckan was founded in 2016 as an initiative aimed at bridging the gap between citizens, politicians, authorities, and business leaders. Since its inception, Järvaveckan has become one of Sweden's most important meeting places for socially engaged companies, associations, authorities, politicians, and citizens. In 2023, more than 65,000 people visited Järvaveckan.

On behalf of Järvaveckan, Miljonbemanning is seeking several junior hosts aged 18-24 who are social, outgoing, and willing to take responsibility. This is a five-day assignment that starts with a paid half-day training and concludes with a voluntary workshop aimed at providing hosts with additional training for stronger establishment in the labor market.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a host during Järvaveckan is varied, social, and developmental in the sense that you move around different locations and perform various types of tasks. Additionally, as a host, you play an important role in creating a pleasant and safe event. Below are your main responsibilities:

• Provide service to exhibitors, debaters, artists, and organizers
• Assist at seminars and mingling events
• Provide help and information to Järvaveckan's visitors
• Ensure that the area is kept clean and tidy
• Fetch and replenish supplies
• Assist at Järvaveckan's Film Festival for children and youth
• Collaborate with our security team
• Other tasks as needed

Who are you?

As a host during Järvaveckan, you are an ambassador for the event and its message. Therefore, respectful and pleasant behavior is important. You will also be the eyes and ears of the safety and security organization, which means good communication with fellow hosts, your team leader, and other security personnel is essential. Together, we help create a socially sustainable and safe environment at Järvaveckan.

• Date: Wednesday, June 11 to Saturday, June 14, 2024 (a total of 5 days).
• Location: Spånga IP, Solhems hagväg 2, 163 56 Spånga.
