About the Job

Working as a Dayshift Supervisor Alkali with us at Nouryon is an exciting challenge! Alkali produces chromatographic materials for pharmaceutical production and analytical materials used in chromatographic columns. The business for analytical materials is growing, and we are now seeking a new role to drive this department.

In your future role as Dayshift Supervisor, you will:

• Be responsible for the production of Sodium and Potassium hydroxide in solid form.
• Have personnel responsibility for 1 day operator and 1 planner.
• Have workplace safety responsibility for 2 smaller process plants and a production lab.
• Be the owner of product quality and be responsible for continuously improving and meeting current and future quality requirements related to GMP production.
• Ensure HSE standards in the various facilities.
• Coach and develop staff and contribute to increasing their skill levels.

In addition to the above, you will also drive maintenance activities in the facility together with Gatekeeper and PTW, participate in capacity projects to streamline production, and be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of 5S. You will also work closely with the marketing and development group. Your future team consists of highly engaged employees where you will work together in a dynamic environment, with an open culture and open, clear dialogue. We care about each other and work together to achieve our common goals.

We believe you bring:

• MSc. Chemical Engineering or equivalent, or BSc. Chemical Engineer with relevant experience.
• Experience from the chemical process industry.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, workplace environment, and HSE regulations.
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience in Pharmaceutical Production, GMP manufacturing.
