About the training:
We offer you a 12-week driving license training for D-qualification and a Professional Competence Certificate (YKB) of 140 hours, with a training salary during the period. The course starts on September 8, 2025.

The training takes place at our depot in Västerås, and upon completion, a permanent full-time position awaits you at our depot in Fagersta.

To apply for the training, you must be at least 24 years old and have a Swedish driving license with category B. You will need to undergo a medical examination and be approved to apply for higher qualifications, as well as provide an extract from the police's criminal record.

To thrive in your role as a bus driver, you need to have, in addition to being able to drive safely and securely, good language skills, be helpful and patient, but also be able to take responsibility and make decisions so that our passengers feel welcome and safe when traveling with us at Svealandstrafiken. In other words, great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.

We expect you to have good driving experience, and previous experience in service occupations is an advantage.
