The work of caring for and supporting those in need is one of the municipality's most important tasks. A job where you, together with good colleagues, make a difference for other people every day.

You will work in one or more of the specified services during the regular staff's vacation. If you do not have previous experience in the healthcare profession, you will receive a good introduction, and there will always be support from both skilled colleagues and your immediate supervisor. As an employee with us, you have access to a newly renovated gym every day of the week, 12 free swims, and other wellness activities that are organized.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

All positions involve scheduled working hours, and most require work every other weekend.

• Care and nursing home: Special housing means accommodation with service and care around the clock, where each resident has their own room. You assist with personal care and hygiene. Work during the day, evening, and weekends.
• Night staff at care and nursing home: You work at night and assist with care tasks. Night schedule and also work on weekends.
• Home care: Home care means that you, either alone or with a colleague, go to the client's own home and assist with personal care and hygiene. You also participate in social activities. Work during the day and evening. A driving license is required.
• Night patrol: You go to homes of individuals who need care at night, administer medication, and assist with care tasks. Night schedule, including weekends. Previous experience in the healthcare profession and a driving license are required.
• LSS Group home: Your main task is to enable increased independence for individuals with various disabilities. You provide individually tailored support to each person based on their needs and wishes. The work includes personal and medical care, transfers, and escorting. Work during the day, evening, night, and weekends.
• Personal assistance: As a personal assistant, you enable a meaningful everyday life for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. You work in the person's home, and the job includes personal and medical care. Work during the day, evening, night, and weekends. A driving license is required for some positions.
• Social psychiatry housing support: The work takes place in the individual's own home, where you provide support in everyday life and assistance to those in need. Everyday activities such as cooking, supporting, and guiding are common tasks. Work during the day, evening, and weekends.
• Social psychiatry housing with special services: Johannagården is a housing facility with service and care around the clock, where each resident has their own room. You provide support in daily life and assist with personal care and hygiene. Work during the day, evening, and weekends.
• Support housing: Malmgården is the municipality's housing for individuals with drug and alcohol addiction. The facility helps individuals towards a sober life with the goal of independent living and employment. Work during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for individuals who are 18 years or older and who are EU citizens, have permanent residency, or hold a temporary work and residence permit. You are responsible and genuinely interested in working in a service profession. The core of our operations is care, and a good approach is of utmost importance. You will be an important resource for others, and therefore it is required that you have an interest in and enjoy working to provide care and support to those we serve. We prefer that you have education and/or experience in healthcare, pedagogy, or treatment.

The work requires that you can collaborate with others and act with great respect towards those you meet in all situations. Working with people means that unpredictable situations can arise; you are someone who can maintain your calm and respond with a low-arousal approach when the situation requires it.

All communication and documentation are conducted in Swedish, and you have good communication skills and are comfortable with the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

For work in home care and night organization, a driving license is required, and you must be able to drive the municipality's vehicles in service. In home care, it is also a requirement that you can cycle. Basic computer skills to use IT technology as a natural part of the job are required. Work in home care, especially in residential care, group homes, and personal assistance may involve uncomfortable working positions and transfers, so you should have a physique that can handle this.

We need summer substitutes during weeks 23-34. Continuity is important for our care recipients, and those who can work most of the summer period will be prioritized in our selection.
