At Fredrikshovs Slotts School, approximately 290 students are enrolled. The school is divided into two units, Leisure/F-3 and 4-9. Thanks to our graduating students' top results, Fredrikshovs Slotts School has ranked among the top five primary schools in Sweden in the Swedish National Agency for Education's statistics for several years. By forming a cohesive structure from preschool to ninth grade, the school creates opportunities to develop methods with continuity and long-term focus, allowing knowledge and skills to be systematically built to the highest possible level for each student.

We are now looking for an inspiring world-class teacher with a focus on Swedish and English who is interested in a temporary position in grades 4-9 at our fantastic school.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher in Swedish and English for grades 4-9, who has high expectations for students and wants to help develop Sweden's best school.

You are interested in the development of children and adolescents and in learning from their diverse experiences to guide all students toward their goals. You use special educational methods to plan, prepare, and conduct lessons, supporting students based on their specific difficulties. You carry out and document your work to lead your students to a greater understanding of their learning process. You have a strong commitment to school issues, love being around children, and easily build relationships with them and their guardians. You are accustomed to dealing with demanding parents and can independently lead and take responsibility for meetings with guardians. You collaborate well with others and maintain a positive and constructive attitude towards your role. You firmly believe that all students can succeed. You communicate easily in both spoken and written form, being clear yet respectful to build trust with educators, parents, and students.

As a teacher in Swedish and English, you will be part of the school's team for grades 4-9. It is important that you can adapt to changing circumstances and quickly adjust your perspective or approach. Part of your role may also involve mentorship. We appreciate initiative and a desire to develop your teaching. We place great importance on social skills and personal suitability.

The person we wish to offer the position must present an extract from the police criminal record to be employed according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act.
