Duro Tapet is one of Sweden's most historic wallpaper manufacturers with roots dating back to the 1930s. The entire manufacturing process, from sketch to finished product, takes place in our pleasant facility located in the Hagaström district of Gävle. We produce wallpapers with a unique combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design, and we are proud to offer high-quality wallpapers that beautify walls both in Sweden and on the international market. We are now looking for a driven employee for production who wants to be part of our ambitious team and contribute to strengthening Duro's position as a leading player in the wallpaper industry. Duro Sweden AB is a Swedish wallpaper manufacturer that has designed and produced high-quality wallpapers for nearly a century. We strive to create wallpapers that withstand fast fashion trends and remain as beautiful today as tomorrow, with the goal of offering products that contribute to harmonious and happy homes. Our range includes everything from classic and timeless collections to modern design.

Now you have the chance to become part of our business and our dedicated team of about 30 people.

Your tasks

We are looking for an employee for production who wants to grow together with the company. You will be responsible for producing wallpapers on one or more different machines and also develop methods and production processes together with the team. In this role, you will get to know the machines and equipment well and will therefore handle much of the cleaning and some maintenance on your own. The company has good opportunities to continue growing by strengthening sales in both existing and new markets, and therefore we hope our staff also sees opportunities to grow in their roles and within the organization. As an operator on a machine in production, you will be responsible for the quality of the product you manufacture and the efficiency with which you produce. The business's management system is Monitor G5, where all processes are registered to develop staff and processes forward.

Your profile

To thrive in the role, you need to have a curious mind and a strong interest in tackling new working methods, as our various products and manufacturing methods are relatively unique. Formal previous experience from manufacturing companies or other practical work may be advantageous but is not a requirement. More important is that you have a strong focus on your work, are interested in technology, and feel comfortable around machinery. You are driven to perform your tasks efficiently but also with precision, possibly using methods that we develop together. Everything we produce is related to design products, so it is valuable if you have an eye for detail and can assess color and form in relation to your contribution in production. In the production team, we are just over 10 people, and communication is important to create a pleasant atmosphere and understanding with your colleagues.

Good IT skills and comfort in using or learning our systems are seen as prerequisites. To perform the work with us, you will receive internal training in the fantastic and unique area we operate in: Wallpaper manufacturing.
