Our clients are facing significant changes driven by new technological solutions, and we are looking for you who want to make a difference! We are currently recruiting engineers who want to join us in the push towards the future of automation and digitalization within Life Science.

The Electrical, Automation & Industrial IT section within the Food & Pharma business area is looking for you who want to work with Automation, PLC & SCADA/DCS systems for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. Each year, we deliver several projects that include development, design, construction, instrumentation, component selection, cabinet deliveries, assembly management, commissioning, and preparation of request for proposal documents, among others. Our section works with customer-specific solutions, such as feasibility studies, projects, renovations, and specialist assignments both in-house from our office and directly at the client's site. We primarily operate within pharmaceutical production, but also in other industries where close collaboration with other disciplines such as industrial IT, electrical & instrumentation, process design, piping design, and validation is common.

AFRY has a large number of experienced employees in automation with colleagues from all over the country. We have a good cohesion in the section, which consists of several experienced engineers with mixed competencies and experiences. We work with guidance and mentorship to ensure that new employees get the best possible start with us!

The position is based at our headquarters in Solna, with the possibility to work at one of our offices in Södertälje or Uppsala. If you have a driver's license, we see it as an advantage since travel is involved in the role.

Qualifications

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical education from university, college, vocational training, or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience. You want to work in project form and appreciate varied tasks as well as meetings with clients. Your own drive and motivation are some of the success factors for succeeding in this role. You work systematically, are adaptable, and a really good team player.

Additionally, you have:

• Experience from the process industry
• Documented experience with PLC/DCS systems (e.g., Siemens PCS7, ABB 800xA, Rockwell 5000, or Emerson DeltaV) and/or SCADA systems (Wonderware, WinCC, ABB) - Batch knowledge is particularly sought after
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken & written)

Desirable skills:

• Knowledge of GMP
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry or regulated industry
