The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). The clinic is also tasked with caring for particularly demanding patients under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). Currently, the clinic has 101 care places divided into 8 departments but is facing an expansion where the number of departments will increase to 10 and care places to 135.

We are now looking for Nurses for temporary positions in the summer of 2025, located in Sundsvall. As a nurse at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, you will have a leading role in a multiprofessional team that takes care of the patient's daily needs for forensic psychiatric care. The clinic offers a good working environment with a varied workload in terms of both tasks and working hours. Nurse at the Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic, Sundsvall Summer 2025

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate care and nursing interventions
• Medication administration
• Participate in rounds, risk assessments, care planning, and functional assessments

You will be introduced by experienced staff according to an onboarding model and training in the data environment. There you will learn more about clinic and department routines, safety engagement, working methods, documentation, and communication.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have previous experience in psychiatric or forensic psychiatric care
• Have additional language skills
