YOUR TASKS

As an operations technician, you help produce good and fresh drinking water for our residents and treat wastewater before it is released into the Baltic Sea.

You will be part of a team of 12 operations technicians responsible for controlling and monitoring the operation of waterworks, treatment plants, pump/pressure boosting stations, and water towers.

Your tasks vary weekly with alternating operations of waterworks and treatment plants.

  • Rounds with sampling and analysis to systematically work with the facilities
  • Ongoing and periodic maintenance
  • Active work regarding safety measures as well as order and tidiness

The work involves responsibility for operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and fault correction, as well as optimizing and streamlining our processes. You work independently or in smaller groups, and the position also includes on-call duty.

YOUR PROFILE

We place great importance on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who has the ability to plan and execute their work well. You are curious, take the initiative for improvement, are responsible, and have good problem-solving skills. You have a B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

If you have experience with pumps, control and regulation technology, and repair of machinery, that is a plus. Previous experience in water and sewage operations or from the process industry is meritorious, as well as a high school education in process technology, operations technician training, or equivalent.

Full-time, daytime Monday – Friday + on-call duty every 5th/6th week
