ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of the Housekeeping team, you play a crucial role in making our guests' hotel stay a five-star experience.
You are responsible for cleaning and decorating all hotel rooms and public areas according to the hotel's standards. All our hotel rooms are unique in terms of both size and design, which also means that the cleaning work needs to be adapted accordingly.
You will also have some guest contact in your role, which means you need to enjoy meeting people, be helpful, and be able to direct our guests correctly.
You will also work with “turndown service” in the evening, where your primary tasks are to prepare and make the rooms cozy for the evening and night.
As a cleaner, you are part of a team with extensive experience, a strong team spirit, and who will train and support you. Everyone in the team works on-site and is available for each other.
The Housekeeping department works to ensure that efficiency is combined with quality and is looking for someone who can work both efficiently and has an eye for detail. There will be times when a lot of work is required, being stress-resistant, solution-oriented, and having the ability to perform physically demanding tasks is therefore a must. For the right person, it will be both developing, rewarding, and above all, very fun.
We can offer employment at 80% (approximately 4 days a week), or alternatively 100% (approximately 5 days a week).
Working hours are scheduled for both evenings and days as well as weekends.
The employment is covered by a collective agreement with insurance and occupational pension.
OB compensation may occur depending on the scheduling of working hours.
WHO ARE YOU?
Primarily, we are looking for someone with previous experience in hotel room cleaning; we also see that you are organized and efficient and have a desire to develop within the profession. Housekeeping communicates relevant information to its staff via email, meetings, and common bulletin boards. Therefore, you need to be able to easily absorb information in both spoken and written form in various forums. We would like you to have an active lifestyle as the job involves a lot of movement and requires some strength.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in hotel room cleaning
- You have a strong work ethic and always do your best
- Positive, structured, and meticulous
- Basic English in spoken and written form
- Basic Swedish in spoken form
- Additional language skills are a plus
- You reside in Sweden and have a Swedish work permit.
