Cleaner Wanted for Falu Municipality

We are currently looking for several cleaners to be placed within food services and cleaning in our internal cleaning pool. The job involves a flexible working method where you may need to move between different workplaces.

We, who are employed in food services and cleaning, work to ensure that our customers can enjoy clean and fresh premises every day and are offered good and nutritious food prepared with great care.

Within Falu Municipality, we want everyone to be able to support themselves on their salary, which is why we offer full-time employment to all. This means that our positions often consist not only of cleaning but may also involve supporting in the kitchen, such as dishwashing, as we work integrated within food services and cleaning.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee in our pool, you will staff food services and cleaning based on need when regular employees are absent. You will start from your home and receive your daily bookings from our staffing planners who allocate the day's shifts. The work is carried out in various municipal facilities, primarily schools and preschools, but also in sports halls, activity houses, and various types of housing. If necessary, several different placements may be relevant on the same day. Kitchen assignments may also be included in the position. The role often involves working alone. Employment in our internal pool is a gateway into our operations that can later lead to a permanent position.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Cleaning education with a professional certificate or other equivalent education or several years of experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Basic IT skills are required to manage our ordering systems, smartphones, and personnel systems, as well as to communicate digitally via email, chat, and teams.
• A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required, as the area is geographically large and workplaces vary from day to day.
• Since part of the work involves being able to work according to a job description and to leave written and/or oral documentation, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required.

You need to be flexible, quickly able to change focus in everyday life, prioritize as needed, solve problems that arise, and be stress-resistant. We also see that you can work independently, drive assignments, and take responsibility on your own, as well as being able to collaborate with colleagues and others you meet. You need to have structure in your work, care about order and tidiness, and share Falu Municipality's values:

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time positions with the possibility of lower working hours within the framework of the full-time agreement. Start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday.
