The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats to Sweden.

About the Unit

The internal procurement section of Must is seeking a purchaser with a strong interest in supporting a complex operation with a high security awareness. The section is part of the finance department and is responsible for providing goods and services to Must's various operational parts through procurement and purchasing. The section ensures that purchases are made in accordance with applicable regulations.

Main Responsibilities

In this role, you will independently or with assistance from colleagues order goods and services against existing agreements and carry out direct procurements according to applicable laws, decisions, routines, and instructions. The role may also include contract management. You will act as support for managers and employees within Must regarding procurement and contract issues. The role will also involve continuing to structure and organize the procurement and purchasing area together with colleagues in the procurement section.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • You have previous work experience in ordering goods and services against agreements
  • Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English

Meritorious

  • Post-secondary education in relevant fields such as law, economics, logistics, purchasing, or technical/YH education in strategic purchasing or procurement
  • Knowledge and experience of purchasing and procurements based on the Public Procurement Act (LOU) or the Procurement Act for Defense and Security (LUFS)
  • Experience in improvement work

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in purchasing and contract issues. You have good communication skills and feel comfortable having both internal and external contacts. You are service-oriented and a problem solver who enjoys developing and driving work forward. You have a structured way of working and the ability to handle various tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The qualifications mentioned above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.

Employment with us entails placement in a security class. Usually, Swedish citizenship is required.
