About the Company

GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for aircraft engines form Engines, and at the facility in Trollhättan, advanced parts for engines for aircraft and rockets are developed and manufactured. They also work with engine maintenance.

GKN Aerospace has production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. They also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for an assembler/grader who will work with the manufacturing of components for RM12 and turbines. The work includes assembly, riveting, forming/pressing, grading, and grinding. The job involves precision machining with tight tolerances regarding grading and machining. The goal is to have a flexible workgroup with the possibility of flexibility within the department. Working and helping each other is a prerequisite for everything to function. The department is relatively young and has an exciting future with a lot going on.

Your Profile

Requirements for the position:

• Must have a complete high school diploma
• Must have a technical training in workshop technology or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience in sheet metal work, spot welding, grading, or similar work
