Fastighetsservice develops and manages the properties of Region Sörmland. We are currently making the largest investments ever in the hospital areas of the region. Fastighetsservice leads, builds, and develops large complex projects in sensitive hospital environments. We manage properties and advanced technical systems and must ensure high operational reliability every day of the year. Our work is a prerequisite for safe and secure care.

The operational area (VO) property management is responsible for creating reliable health and medical care and is in charge of operations and service at Region Sörmland's hospitals. In property management in Eskilstuna, we have over 25 employees on the hospital site who together have the primary responsibility for creating operational reliability and being a reliable partner to the care services.

The operational area includes a variety of technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, control and regulation, medical gases, as well as power supply and distribution. The responsibility also includes certain operational technical equipment. These are complex systems where we are responsible for preventive maintenance work and participate in larger renovations and new installation projects. The work is conducted in a hospital environment, with patient safety in focus, in close collaboration with Region Sörmland's operations and its staff, project managers, consultants, and contractors.

Your Responsibilities

As a service technician in HVAC with us, you will work together with your colleagues to ensure the daily operations and future development of the properties regarding HVAC issues. You will be part of a team with mixed experience and skills where success is built on the willingness to help each other. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and further develop your technical abilities. As an HVAC technician within this hospital delivery, you will join a team with wonderful colleagues where you together contribute to a better everyday life for healthcare.

Your responsibilities include:

• Corrective maintenance, such as replacing valves, pumps, and other critical components.
• Working with rounds, supervision, and maintenance.
• Performing emergency repairs and actions, e.g., water leaks, drainage issues.
• Planned maintenance.
• Working both independently and in a team to ensure the functionality of HVAC systems.
• Assisting with operational knowledge.
• Installing new equipment.
• Performing work in other technical areas as needed.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed secondary education and is a trained HVAC technician. Alternatively, you have other education and/or work experience that the employer considers relevant for the position. You have good computer skills and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since travel may occur in the position, a valid B driver's license is required. Previous experience in property management within a hospital environment is, of course, highly meritorious.

As a person, you have a careful, methodical, and solution-oriented approach to your work. You are confident in your professional skills and enjoy taking personal responsibility for service delivery, possessing the ability to analyze and explain technical relationships. You have a drive to work with technology and are motivated by development and improvement. To thrive in the role, you possess good social skills as you will have a lot of contact with both healthcare staff, colleagues, and suppliers, where high demands are placed on good social skills and a positive attitude with a focus on good collaboration. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date by agreement. Working hours: weekdays 7 AM - 4 PM. On-call duty may be included. Travel within the region during working hours occurs.
