JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for new employees for the Aviation Technology Education.

You are expected to be involved in and take great responsibility for the development of both individual courses and the school as a whole.

We are looking for you who are an aviation technician/instructor/vocational teacher for teaching future aircraft and helicopter technicians and who want to be involved in developing the education and the school. The school operates as a unit, so even if you are primarily placed within one of the educational tracks, training of both upper secondary students and higher vocational students is included in the tasks.

Your tasks will consist of planning and conducting teaching and practical training based on national and international regulations regarding Aviation Technology Education. You will also be involved in the school's various development projects.

The school has a mentor who works full-time actively with our upper secondary students' development and keeps communication alive with their guardians.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are development-oriented and have good knowledge in the aviation technical field. It is an advantage if you have experience in educational activities and working with young people. We also value industry experience and a good ability to communicate with representatives of other organizations within the industry. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

We value your ability to collaborate and contribute to creating a positive and creative work environment. As a person, you are secure, stable, and communicate clearly with students and colleagues. In your work, you plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.

You have:

• certification as an aviation technician, or comparable competence.
• knowledge of international aviation regulations, primarily EASA part-145/66/147.
• several years of experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing of helicopters and/or airplanes.
• current experience in aircraft maintenance, civilian and/or military.
• good knowledge of Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• worked in aviation technical operations for at least five years, of which two years as a certified technician.
• experience from civilian aircraft maintenance.
• experience in helicopter maintenance.
• experience in teaching young people, both theory and practice.
• worked with avionics/aerial electronics.
• hold or have held a part 66 certificate, category B1 and/or B2.
• have a degree from a teacher education program at a university.
• experience in project work, preferably in a leading position.

You have good collaboration skills and a burning interest in driving the operations forward. Great emphasis is placed on social skills and personal suitability.

Since the education is located at a protected object, Swedish citizenship is required.
