About the Role

As a property technician, you will be responsible for the internal maintenance of our four properties totaling 23,625 square meters.

You will carry out operations, maintenance, and minor repairs of the properties and their technical systems.

Sustainability is an important issue for us. Therefore, energy optimization of the properties you work with is part of your responsibilities. This means that you understand and actively work with the properties' control and regulation systems.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Wants to work practically with repairs and measures in our properties
  • Has an eye for preventive and efficient repair work
  • Has technical competence in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, cooling, security, and fire protection, as well as computerized control and regulation technology
  • Has a genuine interest in technology, energy, and the environment

You will independently plan your workday with daily rounds, inspections, and ongoing repairs. In your role, you will have daily contact with contractors, craftsmen, and users of our premises. Safety work is something that permeates the operation and is a natural part of your work with the properties. You will work closely with our other property technician. You have different areas of responsibility and expertise, but work together within the department.

Main Responsibilities

Your main tasks include:

  • Supervision and repairs of our premises and properties as well as preventive maintenance work
  • Perform property maintenance such as lock changes, drain cleaning, replacement of fittings, handling fire alarms and sprinklers, etc.
  • Independently plan your work
  • Be responsible for continuously optimizing all properties' technical systems and work with technology, environmental, and energy issues for a better operating net
  • Manage and troubleshoot control and monitoring systems for electricity, heating, cooling, and ventilation
  • Conduct SBA (systematic fire protection work)
  • Participate in financial follow-up and budgeting based on your areas of responsibility
  • Engage, coordinate, and follow up suppliers and craftsmen as needed
  • Participate in authority and warranty inspections

Your Profile

It is important that you have good collaboration skills, are unpretentious, flexible, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You are used to prioritizing and making quick, well-considered decisions. You are committed and work systematically with problem-solving. You know what good customer care means and always strive to stay one step ahead. You have a strong sense of responsibility and feel co-responsible for the final result for the department and the organization as a whole.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in property maintenance, property management, and property inspections
  • Experience in independently managing fault reports within the property area
  • Education as a property technician, operations technician, or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of technical installations and their interaction in properties
  • Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience working with HVAC, appliances, and basic knowledge of electricity
  • The following certificates: High altitude, hot work, Bas P and Bas U, facility manager sprinkler, and crane master, SBA

This is a permanent full-time position based in Stockholm. The employment begins with a probationary period starting as soon as possible.
