We have started our summer recruitment and are looking for colleagues for our home care groups who want to work on a schedule during the day/evening with shifts every other weekend during weeks 24–34.
Our operations run around the clock every day of the year. If you enjoy working with us, there is a great opportunity to continue working after the summer.

To ensure a smooth start at your new workplace, you will undergo an introduction. Additionally, we work with a 37-hour week as a full-time measure!
Kungälv municipality offers monthly employment for all summer temp workers who work more than four weeks. This means you will receive guaranteed work shifts, a ready-made schedule, and your salary paid out in the same month.

Job Responsibilities
The home care service in Kungälv municipality is divided into eight home care groups that are based in different locations throughout the municipality.
With us, you will have a meaningful, social, and varied job, where you, together with dedicated colleagues, will meet clients in their homes and daily lives. In home care, we work with planned visits in the form of care and service interventions. This includes support and assistance with transfers, showers, help/getting dressed, and serving meals. Job responsibilities also include supervision, respite care, escorting, cleaning, walking, and digital shopping. Most tasks are carried out independently, but some activities are performed together with colleagues.
Before starting your summer temp position, you need to undergo medication training provided by the municipality to receive medication delegation. You must pass this training.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- Good physical ability.
- Driver's license (B) or the ability to cycle.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of mobile and computer usage.
- Can accept delegation of health and medical care interventions such as medication delegation.
Meritorious:
- Started education as a nursing assistant or similar healthcare education.
- Previous experience in care work.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. It is important that you are empathetic, communicative, engaged, calm, and responsible, and have a strong interest in working with people. There may be a high pace at times, so it is important that you can work effectively under stress.
What does our recruitment process look like?
- Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period based on the needs of the operations.
- You should provide a reference from your current or most recent manager, supervisor with name, phone number, and email address. If you have no previous work experience, please provide a teacher from your high school as a reference. Contact your references before submitting their contact information. If you have had a previous employment in Kungälv municipality, internal references will be taken.
- If you do not have complete high school grades, you need to bring your middle school grades to the interview.
- For those who are not citizens of the EU/EES area, a work permit is required; this does not apply to those with permanent residence permits. The work permit must be presented at the interview.
