About Hallsta School

Hallsta School is a K-9 school with an attached after-school program. We have about 55 staff and 340 students. Hallsta School is located about 40 minutes north of Norrtälje with good communication back and forth. We have nature right outside our door. We are very proud of our operations that show good academic results. Our ambition is for it to be fun and rewarding to work with us. We have a stable organization with well-functioning teams and good support functions, including a student health team with many different professions. We use visual support in all classrooms. The teams at Hallsta School are divided into K-6, 7-9, and the after-school program. Each team is led by a team leader. Hallsta School's students should be given opportunities to choose their own path after primary school and in life. We who work at Hallsta School focus on learning and care about good relationships with all students. At Hallsta School, we are good role models and we know that students do the right thing if they can. Our main mission is to strive for all students to achieve eligibility for upper secondary school, a high percentage of complete grades, and high merit values, and that students feel secure, experience study peace, and have fun during their years with us. About the Position

As a teacher in the middle school, you will:

• Individually and together with colleagues plan, implement, and evaluate teaching according to governing documents to ensure high pedagogical quality of instruction
• Actively work with students' knowledge development and promote their interest in wanting to learn more
• Participate in the school's joint efforts to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment, physically, pedagogically, and psychosocially
• Collaborate with teams to develop the school's overall goals and areas for development by being active in systematic quality work
• Create good collaboration with students, colleagues, guardians, and other actors the school comes into contact with
• Contribute to a good working environment for everyone at the school

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Teaching degree with qualifications to teach in middle school
• Previous experience in teaching in primary school
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good didactic and methodological ability and who creates structure and clarity in the classroom
• Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment based on learning goals
• Ability to activate students' learning and create motivating learning situations that make students thrive and develop in your classroom

Challenges

At Hallsta School, the student group is heterogeneous and you need to have the ability to adapt your teaching to the needs of the group and individual students. It is an advantage if you are documented skilled in differentiated learning, collaborative learning, and/or language and knowledge-developing working methods.

Employment

• Full-time 100%
• Permanent employment. Seasonal employment. A probationary period may be applicable. A teaching license is required for permanent employment
• Start date: August 11, 2025
• Selection work and interviews will be conducted continuously during the advertising period
