We work locally but also have operations that target the entire city to meet the needs of our residents. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A colleague's parental leave and our focus on team development mean that we are now looking for senior social workers for permanent positions who, with their experience and drive, want to take leading roles in our work with Children and Youth in Centrum. Here, you will not only have the opportunity to focus on cases of a more complex nature, but you will also have significant autonomy to make a difference for children and young people. You will handle your own cases while also supporting less experienced colleagues in their work. These positions are relatively new to us and are part of an initiative to create attractive career paths, develop the work environment, and enable increased support for our new social workers.

What does the job entail?

The work involves handling cases with support from SoL and LVU for children and young people aged 0-21 years. As a senior caseworker, you will play a key role in our team. Your focus will be on handling cases of a more complex nature where your experience and ability to find solutions are truly utilized. Based on the design of the position, you will be given both time and space to work with these cases satisfactorily. You will also work closely with our less experienced colleagues, where you support, guide, and share your knowledge to contribute to their development in authority enforcement.

You will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence how we best work to meet the needs of children and families. We have clear working methods based on BBIC and are now focusing on implementing Signs of Safety, where we actively work to involve the network and explore the family's own suggestions for solutions while never compromising on the protection of children.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You have at least 5 years of experience working with children and young people in social services, primarily conducting investigations and follow-up work. You have a clear child perspective in your work and always start from children's rights.

You have very good knowledge of the legislation regarding SoL and LVU and have worked with BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus). We also see that you have a good ability to investigate, document, and follow up on interventions. A B driver's license is an advantage for the position. It is also advantageous if you have experience working in Treserva and experience with Signs of Safety.

As a person, you are good at collaborating and enjoy being part of a team, while also having the ability to work independently, drive processes, and make your own decisions. You are confident in yourself and in your role as a social worker. Your communication skills allow you to meet people with respect and handle difficult conversations professionally. You have a solution-oriented and positive attitude, and you value collaboration to create the best support for each individual.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to structure and prioritize your work well. You balance client meetings, documentation, and collaboration in a way that contributes to quality in the operation.
