Olarsgården hotel has been in Sälen since 1946 and has since been the base for mountain travelers. The charming log house, cozy decor, and personal service have characterized the business since its inception. A common interest in the mountains and nature unites guests and staff. In the summer, hiking, biking, and paddling are the focus, while in winter, skiing in all its forms takes precedence.

Restaurant Elgen is the name of the restaurant at Olarsgården that serves breakfast, lunch, and à la carte to both hotel guests and visitors to Sälenfjällen, as well as to the local community. The food served is inspired by the mountains and Dalarna, and with its membership in Taste of Dalarna, it challenges us to think even more locally sourced. The position is a permanent full-time employment, and since Olarsgården and Restaurant Elgen are open every day of the year, there is work all year round! Staff accommodation is within walking distance to both work and ski slopes.
