The Position
The position as Administrator with a focus on systems coordination and statistics management is placed within the Department of Children and Education. We conduct statutory activities in the form of preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and student health. Within the department's area of responsibility, there are also cultural schools, youth center activities, open preschool, and the municipality's food unit. The department operates on behalf of the Children and Education Committee.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Department of Children and Education in Gnesta is now seeking an Administrator with a focus on Systems Coordination and Statistics Management. You will primarily work with systems management and statistics handling, where you are the link between the department's various operations and create conditions and basis for decision-making and implementation. You are part of the quality team at the Department of Children and Education.
You are expected to provide digital solutions and support in the development of the department's processes. Based on the needs of the operations, you create, improve, and support digital processes and optimize the use of the various systems. You are the department's contact person for system suppliers and are responsible for maintaining the systems with upgrades and deliveries. As the system manager/administrator, you are responsible for ordering, management systems, and the department's IT security. Furthermore, you will work to ensure and develop the work within statistics and information security. You are expected to have a flexible approach to collaboratively solve the wide variety of tasks within the small department with your colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has some form of post-secondary education or other training and experience that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have professional experience from a similar position as a system administrator and systems coordinator within the public sector. Experience with operational systems in the areas of preschool, primary school, adult education, and the medical services of student health is advantageous. You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you are a good analyst who is skilled at seeing connections and solving complex questions and problems. You take responsibility and drive your work forward to achieve results. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner. You are a communicative person who finds it easy to listen and adapt your communication style. You are a flexible person who has the ability to see opportunities in changes. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
