About the operation:

Rosendal School is a municipal F-9 school located centrally in Vallentuna, close to natural areas, libraries, swimming pools, ice rinks, and more, as well as good communications.

The leisure center has access to its own premises as well as access to the school's other facilities such as sports halls, home economics, crafts, and music rooms. We have a good outdoor environment with large areas including artificial grass fields, climbing frames, forest areas, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

We work for a leisure activity that is based on the curriculum and the central content for leisure centers, the students' interests, and their experiences. We want to give students a meaningful leisure time and important tools for life. We prioritize quality and see the leisure center as an important part of the students' development. We have a well-received break activity with organized break activities. At Rosendal School, all leisure teachers, leisure educators, and child caregivers have set planning time, a joint team meeting once a week, and an opportunity for co-planning with teachers.

As a leisure teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring that the teaching at the leisure center meets the goals in the curriculum. You will be responsible for the leisure center's rough planning and lead the team's AL meetings where rough planning is implemented in the upcoming week's activities. Examples of other tasks may include leading the school's student council and being involved in break activities.

Qualifications:

• We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in leisure education.
• You have a natural leadership role, are communicative, and enjoy working together with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• As a person, you are flexible, attentive, and take responsibility.
• You are well acquainted with applicable governing documents and master the Swedish language both in speech and writing.

• You strengthen relationships by helping others, collaborating, following rules and processes, and sharing information.
