Within the Health and Care Administration, there is a Dementia Center that serves as a consolidated support for customers with dementia and their relatives. The goal is to contribute to an increased quality of life through knowledge, advice, and support, both individually and in groups. The Dementia Center includes the dementia team, Stads­gården nursing home, and the day activity center Sandgatan 1.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an opportunity for you who want to make a difference by providing joy and a meaningful day to individuals with dementia living in regular housing and visiting the day activity center Sandgatan 1.

At Sandgatan, our customers meet for social interaction and participate in activities that can be individual or group-based.

We are looking for substitutes who have experience in meeting and communicating with individuals with cognitive impairment. You will work daytime, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, you need to have:

• Good Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required to communicate with our customers and document in our systems.
• Experience in elderly care, nursing homes, or similar healthcare environments
• Approved education as a nursing assistant
• Receive HSL delegation from the responsible nurse
