JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Services, which is part of the Employment and Occupation unit within the Labor Market and Education Administration in Boden Municipality, has received a new assignment to deliver food to schools, preschools, and nursing homes within Boden Municipality. Therefore, we are now looking for 3 drivers for our delivery vehicles to deliver food for this assignment.

At Administrative Services, we have two assignments in our daily work:

• The formal assignment consists of providing service to Boden Municipality's administrations by offering a variety of services, such as moving assignments within the municipality, assembly and disassembly, minor construction assignments, lawn mowing, maintenance of our own vehicles and premises, and much more.
• The pedagogical assignment consists of offering work training tasks to individuals who are a bit distant from the regular labor market to support them in their personal development towards work or studies.

As a driver, you will pick up and deliver food to schools and nursing homes in Boden Municipality. You will be part of a work team along with several colleagues and with close support from the team leader. During school holidays, etc., when driver assignments do not fill the entire working hours, you may be involved in other activities at the workplace.

In the role of driver, there are several qualities and abilities that are important for you as an applicant to possess:

• You have good physical fitness as the work with driving and handling food carts is physically demanding.
• You are service-oriented in your approach and interaction.
• You understand the importance of being meticulous and organized as the role includes some administrative tasks with reporting and reconciliations.
• You are punctual and able to work in a structured manner as it is important that food deliveries are made within set time frames.

Requirements

• Driver's license B for manual transmission
• Reading and writing proficiency in Swedish is required.

Meritorious

• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite are meritorious.
