About the Position

We are currently looking for an operational buyer for our global client in Västerås. The company specializes in the manufacturing of large engines and generators. We are looking for a proactive person who enjoys solving challenges, takes responsibility for ensuring that order deliveries align with production planning, and communicates effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to find the best possible solutions. You thrive in both ad-hoc problem-solving and more structured, planned activities. We hope you can start as soon as possible.

This is a consulting assignment, where you will be employed by us at Cleverex Bemanning and rented out to our client. The consulting assignment is expected to last until the end of the year.

Job Responsibilities

As an operational buyer, you will belong to the production technology team. You will play a central role in ensuring material availability and improving supplier performance. Your tasks will include issuing purchase orders, following up on deliveries, and managing supplier contacts to ensure that materials are delivered on time and according to specifications. You will have extensive contact with both internal and external parties, so effective communication is important.

Your Profile

You have a post-secondary education in engineering, logistics, or production
You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
We see that you have experience in operational purchasing, inventory management, inventory control, industrial production, or similar
Experience with SAP is highly desirable

For this position, we expect you to have good communication skills and the ability to analyze data effectively. You are self-driven and dare to work proactively while being structured in your work. Furthermore, you are a person who thrives in a varied everyday life where there is sometimes a high pace. We are looking for someone with a holistic perspective who can see improvement opportunities.
