Pocketgrossisten is looking for a sales consultant for a temporary position

Pocketgrossisten AB has been around since 1992 and was started to manage purchasing and inventory for Pocketshop. In 1993, Pocketgrossisten began delivering pocket books to service trade and shortly thereafter to grocery trade.

Pocketgrossisten Sverige AB is owned by Bonnierförlagen, Piratförlaget, and Tukan Förlag. It is a stable ownership group that aims to develop and strengthen the book market in grocery trade.

We offer our customers a comprehensive solution for books in grocery trade. Through store-adapted departments, the most commercial assortment, and personal full service with knowledgeable sales consultants, we optimize the sales areas in stores. At the same time, we continuously work to drive and develop the category forward.

Although our focus is on pocket books, we have a strong assortment of hardcover books, gift books, cookbooks, and children's books for various ages. In addition, we develop a number of attractive campaigns throughout the year that further drive sales in stores.

As a sales consultant, you will have overall responsibility for Pocketgrossisten's customers in grocery trade around Mälardalen. You will manage the respective store's book departments, which includes stocking, displaying, pricing, and placing orders. Presenting and selling campaigns is an important part of the job. This position is perfect for you who enjoy working independently, like building relationships, and are passionate about good service and sales.

The qualifications we are looking for:

• Positive with strong drive, interest, and commitment to sales.
• Social competence
• Aesthetic sense with knowledge of selling displays.
• Structured with good organizational skills and the ability to understand and follow given instructions.
• Interest in books.
• In good physical shape as this is a mobile job with some heavy lifting.
• Computer skills
• You should be a person who can see the big picture and make independent decisions to achieve set goals.

We prefer that you have experience in sales within grocery or retail. Being able to establish and maintain relationships with all types of customers is an absolute must.

The position is a temporary contract until June 2026, which may be extended to a permanent position.

The position is 60% and may vary depending on the week.

You should live in the area around Västerås, Eskilstuna as most of our stores are located in this area.

A driver's license is required. A car is included.
