Care and Welfare Administration is Hiring for Dementia Care Home Skogen
The Care and Welfare Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and food services. The administration has over 1,000 employees. The largest group of employees consists of care staff such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and chefs. However, there are also many other professions within our organization. We are all key personnel, and our operations are characterized by employees who are engaged, responsible, and competent.

Job Responsibilities
- Care and welfare work with individuals diagnosed with dementia in special housing according to the municipality's guidelines.
- Scheduled working hours with day, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Provide users with a meaningful day, activation, and stimulation.
- Certain medical care is involved, such as medication and insulin administration.
- We work based on BPSD and response plans.
Qualifications
- Nursing assistant with extensive experience in care work within dementia care. Ability to work based on a low-arousal approach.
- Personal qualities such as the ability to work independently, make decisions and take initiatives, be flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
- It is an advantage to have worked with the BPSD registry and completed the Demens-ABC training available online.
- A driver's license is desirable.
