About the Job

Verdis is responsible for the collection and transport of household and food waste in Sundsvall, with MittSverige Vatten & Avfall as the client and partner. We now need to strengthen the department with several positive and goal-oriented environmental workers with a C driver's license and YKB who can work full-time over the summer between weeks 24 - 31.

As an environmental worker, you have a key role within the company. You are the face of Verdis and become one of our everyday heroes who helps keep Sundsvall clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You report to the management.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Collection and transport of waste using rear-loading collection vehicles
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance/check of vehicles and superstructures, as well as washing them when needed
• Submitting vehicles to the workshop when needed

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a C driver's license with the corresponding YKB
• Masters the Swedish language in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you have:

• Professional experience as a truck driver and knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Previous experience in some form of waste collection
• Good local knowledge

This position is suitable for you who enjoys a mobile job in a fast-paced environment and has good physical fitness. We believe that you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and cooperative. You are also responsible and take pride in performing your work in the best possible way.

Other Information

Start: June (week 24). Employment type and scope: Fixed-term employment, full-time until week 31. Working hours: Monday to Friday, daytime between 06:00-15:00.
