Interim Payment Flow Specialist
Do you want to work with invoice management within operational purchasing and are driven to improve things a little better every day? We are now looking for an interim Payment Flow Specialist for our purchasing organization in Halmstad.
Within Martin & Servera Logistik AB, Operational Purchasing manages a range of over 45,000 items and purchases goods worth approximately 10 billion SEK each year. Our mission is to optimize the availability of goods to meet our customers' needs and requirements, as well as to enable effective inventory management. The function consists of about 50 employees in Halmstad and Norrköping.
About the Role
As a Payment Flow Specialist, you will work on investigating reasons why supplier invoices do not match our expected prices.
You will be part of an engaged team striving to optimize the payment flow process and ensure correction of incorrect prices to prevent future invoices from being held up for the same reasons. To do this, you need to have a good understanding of the pricing structure of the items and the entire purchasing process.
In this role, you will have close collaboration and contact with both operational purchasers and other internal functions, as well as with our suppliers.
You will report to the Head of Payment Flow and Goods Flow Analysis, and the position is based in Halmstad. Travel may occur in this role.
What Will You Do?
- Ensure that Martin & Servera pays invoices at agreed prices
- Daily contact with external and internal stakeholders to investigate why invoices are stuck in the payment flow
- Monitor and request credits from suppliers
- Financial follow-up within the function's area of responsibility
- Drive improvement work to optimize and develop the payment flow.
What Are We Looking for in You?
As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible. The tasks require business acumen and a good economic understanding, and you are therefore driven by challenges and the ability to shape your path towards set goals. You are a skilled communicator in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English, who can create and maintain good relationships with both external and internal contacts with sensitivity and social skills. You work just as well independently as in a team.
To Succeed in This Role, We Believe You Have:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent knowledge acquired that we consider comparable.
- Experience in invoice management and thus a good understanding of the entire workflow.
It is advantageous if you have previously worked with Basware/Alusta. If you also have experience in operational purchasing/supply chain, that is also a plus.
