Paving Worker Machine Team Wanted at Peab Asfalt Örebro

About the Position

We are starting a new machine team in April 2025, and we are now looking for you who want to be part of the team. Are you already working in a cohesive team? No problem, you can all apply!

As a Paving Worker with us, you will be part of an engaged work team driven by seeing a project grow. You will work in the field together with your colleagues on varying assignments within your work area. As a paving worker, both the work location and working hours will vary, which requires some flexibility.

Job responsibilities include:

• Paving work with machine/manual
• Compaction
• Adhesion
• Screed Operator

The asphalt season is most intense from April to December when you will work somewhat longer working days. This is compensated with time off with maintained salary from Christmas to the end of March the following year.

Who are you?

As we are starting a machine team, we need to recruit for all positions in the team. We are looking for you with competence for one of the roles of paver operator, roller driver, and screed operator.

We are looking for someone with experience in hot paving with machine/manual handling or other relevant education.

The position of paving worker requires that you are practical and have an easy time solving problems that arise. You will work together with others in a work team, and you depend on each other to succeed, which means you should have an easy time collaborating. You should have good physical fitness as there will be heavy work, and you should enjoy working outdoors for most of the year.

Requirements

• Driving license B

Meritorious

• BE and/or C driving license
• Experience in paving work with machine (paver)
