Assembler in the Defense Industry – Arboga

About the Position

We are looking for assemblers on behalf of our client Saab for production in Arboga at the Product Unit Communications department, which is part of the Surveillance business area and is responsible for designing, integrating, and delivering communication solutions to the defense. You will be employed by MW and hired as a consultant to Saab.

As an assembler, you will perform assembly and installations of robust communication solutions. Much of the work is related to Digital Battlespace Solutions (DBS) and aims to digitize defense forces and ensure their success and safety in military operations by providing advanced system solutions for command support, autonomy, cyber defense, space, advanced decision support, and communication solutions to their end users.

The position involves mechanical work where you will perform assembly and installations of robust communication solutions in their technical workshop in Arboga.

About You

We are looking for a structured person with good knowledge of mechanics, endurance, and precision. You have the ability to work independently and are also a team player with good collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a technical workshop and have a mature and responsible work approach. You have experience in assembling components, soldering, and connecting, as well as experience reading drawings and wiring diagrams.

Formal Requirements

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience in soldering and connecting
• Driver's license B
• Can undergo and pass a security clearance.

• Good knowledge of military communication systems
• Strong interest in technology
• Background in the Armed Forces
