ABOUT THE POSITION

As a welder, you will work independently based on drawings, with the support of a supervisor who helps with planning. You will be responsible for welding components together from scratch, which provides a broad and developing experience. In addition to welding, the role may also involve operator work at a sheet metal machine, where you handle materials, monitor the process, and ensure efficient production. There is an opportunity to alternate between welding and operating, creating a dynamic and responsible role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld components according to drawings and specifications
• Prepare and process materials, including cutting, grinding, and fitting parts
• Ensure quality and durability through visual inspection and any necessary post-processing
• Monitor and control the machine that cuts sheet metal, including material handling and adjusting settings

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has work experience in welding and/or equivalent experience in workshop work
• Has good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written as the language is used in daily work
• Has a technical interest

It is meritorious if you have:

• A high school education in industrial technology with a focus on welding technology
• A forklift license
