Närsjukvården Halland is seeking dedicated nurses for the Vårdcentralsakuten in Varberg and Halmstad for the summer of 2025.

Take the opportunity to work in an exciting drop-in service under the management of Vårdcentralen Halland, located at the emergency departments in Varberg and/or Halmstad. Here you will have the chance to continue the project that took place during the summer of 2024, an on-call reception for quick assessments of patients seeking care at Halland's emergency departments, but who can be handled at the primary care level.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a nurse, you will work in a team with doctors to assess and treat patients who come to the emergency department but can be managed through a separate track at the Vårdcentralsakuten due to their level of care. The reception will be staffed from morning to early evening.

The operation is a continuation of the project that took place in the summer of 2024 and will now, in 2025, operate as the last part of the emergency departments in Varberg and Halmstad's existing facilities. As a nurse in this operation, you will need to work in fast patient flows and make medical assessments in a drop-in service similar to what the emergency departments have today. The work will involve assessing and treating simpler patients with low priority, a patient group that seeks emergency care but lacks the need for specialist care. The work is carried out in close collaboration with an engaged team from primary care, but also with support from the emergency departments, which has been key to success. Together, we ensure that patients receive the best possible care!

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training as a district nurse, who is interested in working in an on-call reception for primary care. It is a great advantage if you have previous experience working in a health center, preferably in an on-call reception with drop-in or similar operations.

We see that you enjoy working with fast patient flows where simpler issues and ailments dominate. You communicate clearly and express a positive attitude towards your work. As a person, you easily collaborate with others and adapt to new circumstances when conditions change.
