We are now looking for a Shift Leader for Scandic Anglais.

What does the role of Shift Leader Front Office entail?

Those working in Front Office are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Responsibilities also include administrative work, safety work, and sales work. The work in Front Office involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and security.

In the role of Shift Leader, you have, in addition to being part of the operation, an overall overview of the guest flow and work with the team to prioritize tasks so that the operation runs smoothly and guests are satisfied. You lead and distribute the work and manage staffing during your shift. If necessary, you will train new employees at the hotel and also relieve the Front Office Manager of certain administrative tasks.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Your qualifications

For this role, you need both the ability and willingness to work with operational leadership. You are confident in your leadership and possess both integrity and sales drive. To fit into the role, we also believe that you have a well-developed social ability and can handle many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests. You are a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a working tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
