Are you a solution-oriented buyer who enjoys working in a dynamic environment? We are looking for an Operational Buyer who wants to be a key player in our client's Production Technology and Purchasing team. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an efficient and smooth production chain through careful planning, proactive work, and strong collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

In the role of Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for ensuring that order deliveries align with production planning. You will work with both ad hoc problem-solving and more structured and planned purchasing activities. Your focus will be on creating effective and sustainable solutions through careful analysis and communication.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing the purchase of materials according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
• Ensuring that purchasing activities comply with the company's policies and guidelines.
• Maintaining and developing good relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactively working to solve challenges and optimize the supply chain.
• Following up on orders and deliveries to ensure that the production flow operates smoothly.

Qualifications

• You have several years of experience in operational purchasing.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• You can work 100% on-site in Västerås.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP.

Start Date and Application

Full-time, 40h/week. Our client wishes to start in April, and the assignment is expected to run until 2025-12-31 with a chance of extension.
