Are you a driven and structured person with experience in international logistics and customs issues? Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks and contribute to a sustainable future in transport? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We are now seeking an export forwarder for our client Siemens in Finspång, who will play a central role in their operations. You will be responsible for managing the export process from quotation to delivery, including transport booking, customs declarations, and supplier contacts. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth and efficient transport.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree or several years of qualified experience in logistics, import, and export. Experience in international transport and customs issues as well as contract writing is a fundamental requirement. You need to have excellent skills in English, both spoken and written, and additional language skills such as Spanish, German, or Russian are considered a plus.

The work is during daytime hours and you will be based in Finspång. The position is a consulting assignment with a desired start date of 2025-05-05 to 2026-04-30, with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Requesting quotes and booking transport for export
• Creating export-related documents
• Participating in transport procurement and negotiation
• Supplier contacts and collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Issuing export customs documents and customs clearance
• Issuing customs instructions to forwarding companies
• Accounting and payment of freight and customs invoices
• Handling transport claims
• Cross-Trade shipments

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree and/or several years of qualified experience in logistics, import/export.
• Experience in international transport and customs issues as well as contract writing.
• Excellent skills in English, both spoken and written. Additional language skills (Spanish, German, or Russian) are a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and preferably also SAP.
