Consultant Advisor - Totally Integrated Power (TIP)
Do you want to influence the energy solutions of the future? Now is your chance to join us in Electrification and influence decision-makers to choose products and solutions from Siemens.
Why work as a Consultant Advisor with us?
Here are a few lines from a future colleague.
”We are a cheerful and dedicated team with a great interest in technology and passion for what we do. As a consultant advisor with us, you will be our face to the prescriptive lead such as electrical consultants, end customers, investors, etc., when it comes to creating future-proof, efficient, and sustainable power distribution systems for industries, properties, data centers, and e-mobility. You will work on developing proposals for products and system solutions within the low and medium voltage area. It’s great if you enjoy being in the spotlight; presenting products and systems to customers and actively participating in trade shows. You control your own day-to-day work, and the job is very varied and flexible! For us, balance in life is important.”
In this role, you will be part of our Nordic team within the Totally Integrated Power area. You will primarily work in Sweden, but depending on your skills and experience, you may include other Nordic countries as needed. You will have local product specialists as well as our colleagues at the headquarters in Germany to assist you. Collaboration with the sales team is an important and natural part of your daily work.
We prefer that you work from one of our offices in Mälardalen.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative solutions for power transmission and distribution, playing a critical role in driving sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with consulting firms. You are prepared to travel, mainly within Sweden (a B driver's license is required, a company car is included).
- Identify and engage in infrastructure, industrial, and property projects at an early stage.
- Provide expert assistance in designing power systems, including network calculations, budget pricing, and system sizing, ensuring optimal integration of medium and low voltage solutions.
- Incorporate IoT technologies, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and sustainability strategies into power distribution design to meet future energy needs.
- Promote and provide first-hand support for our sizing tools, improving planning efficiency and technical accuracy.
- Maintain and update CRM tools and keep track of projects in your pipeline.
To succeed in this role, you need:
- A technical degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of medium and low voltage systems and power distribution products such as circuit breakers.
- Preferably experience in sizing electrical installations, system design, and regulations in the field.
- Familiarity with design tools, IoT integration, BIM, and sustainable energy solutions.
- Experience in consulting or sales within the electrical installation industry.
- You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
- A B driver's license as travel is required for the job.
If you don’t meet all the criteria above but still recognize yourself in some, please apply anyway, and we will see together if we match!
