Preparer/Painter for Helmia Karlstad

We at Helmia Bil are now looking for a Paint Technician for our repair shop in Karlstad. In this role, you will work with all tasks in the paint shop such as plastic repairs, sanding, filling, painting, polishing, finishing adjustments, and disassembly and assembly of parts.

About the role:

As a Preparer/Painter with us, you play a key role in ensuring the highest quality in paintwork and keeping up with the latest techniques in the industry. You will report to the Damage Center Manager.

You will work with the following tasks:

Perform paint repairs according to work orders and quality standards
Independently plan, execute, and complete paintwork
Be responsible for the order and maintenance of the workplace, equipment, and tools
Use and maintain personal protective equipment
Conduct quality checks and report any customer complaints
Participate in training and stay updated on new techniques in the industry

Who are you?

Have experience in painting and preparing vehicles
Are meticulous, independent, and quality-conscious
Enjoy working in a team and have a positive attitude
Have a good understanding of the painting process and can follow work instructions
