About the position:

We are now looking for a lathe and grinding operator for our Yankee workshop. As a machine operator, you will be part of a shift team working 3 shifts. You will handle large and complex workpieces with high tolerance requirements that need to be managed, measured, processed, and quality checked.

Collaboration, communication, and understanding of materials and the flow of products are important parameters in the role of lathe and grinding operator. You will be part of a team that closely collaborates with other departments in the workshop as well as production technology and the maintenance department. The position entails significant personal responsibility for the work, ensuring that all tasks are performed accurately and correctly.

Your tasks will include:

  • Managing materials and measuring workpieces into the machine
  • Performing independent measurements of details to ensure the correct quality is maintained
  • Creating measurement protocols
  • Performing basic operator maintenance
  • Assembling components related to the Yankee cylinder
  • Participating in balancing Yankee cylinders
  • Packaging finished yankees.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has/is:

  • Technical education aimed at the manufacturing industry or equivalent education
  • Flexible
  • Strong technical interest
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
