Your Role

In the Sheet Metal and Welding workshop at Saab Kockums Muskö, you will be part of a team where everyone plays an important role in the goal of completing the Navy's vessels and making them operational.

You will have a variety of tasks with a focus on renovation and modifications. Your initiatives and creative solutions play a vital role for vessels of different ages and sizes. The work is varied, and you will have good opportunities to develop your craft and professional skills.

Examples of tasks:

• Welding and sheet metal work during renovation and modification of vessels
• Manufacturing of single-piece components
• Inspections of e.g. anchor chains, lifeboat arrangements, etc.
• Various workshop tasks

The work is performed both on board vessels and in the workshop. Domestic travel may occur. Working hours are during the day, and shifts may occur.

Your Profile

To apply for the role, you need to have:

• Experience in industry or workshops
• Basic knowledge of welding and sheet metal work
• Strong interest in technology
• Driver's license (B)

The work requires that you can express yourself in spoken and written Swedish and English.
