Information about the Swedish Armed Forces and the recruiting unit:

The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army combat forces. Fast combat boats and hovercraft make the unit highly mobile. Our weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and below the water surface, in the air, and on land. Thus, we can exert control over coastal areas.

The unit trains amphibious soldiers, coastal rangers, sailors, and officers in various main services. Amf 1 has production responsibility for the combat units 2nd Amphibious Battalion and 2nd Marine Base Battalion. The unit is based in Haninge (Berga).
